Elva stole the show at her first ever Special Olympics event, and her fan club was out in full force to cheer her on! Competing in the MATP School Qualifying Event at the John Birmingham Centre in Cork, Elva joined 48 incredible athletes from across Munster. The Motor Activities Training Program supports individuals with profound intellectual disabilities and complex needs, promoting health, motor development, and community inclusion. Elva’s big day was filled with smiles, encouragement, and pure joy as she embraced the spotlight. A proud and inspiring moment for all—Elva is just getting started, and the future looks bright!
