Special Olympics Ireland to select team to attend 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Game Tuesday 30th April

The Special Olympics Ireland Winter Games 2024 featured 207 athletes in action across South Lake Leisure Centre and Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre, as competition in the sports of floorball and alpine skiing proceeded in a spirit living up to the famous Special Olympics Athlete Oath: "Let me win, and if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt".

This marks the tenth consecutive year that Gala Retail has supported Special Olympics Ireland, demonstrating its steadfast commitment to supporting local communities and athletes across Ireland.

The atmosphere was electric as Team Leinster gathered to celebrate the 68 people who will travel to take part in the Ireland Winter Games in March.
