All Regions Golf Event-Portmarnock

On the 30th June, all regions came together at Portmarnock & Jameson Golf Links.

Sligo Fairways Special Olympics club travelled to the event and competed in the Level 4-Individual Stroke Plat, 9-hole competition. The course was challenging but all the athletes completed it which is a testament to their determination and courage.

The awards were presented by members of the Board of Special Olympics Ireland and Golf Ireland

June was a busy month for Healthy Athlete screenings, with Fun Fitness in action at regional basketball and football events incorporating screenings facilitated by two teams of physiotherapy students from RCSI.
