Weight Lifting Programme - 8 Week Pilot A Great Success!
Over the past eight weeks, our athletes have been hard at work learning the fundamentals of weightlifting under the expert guidance of Peter Carroll, President of Weightlifting Ireland. Peter was highly impressed with how quickly the group picked up the vital techniques needed for safe, skillful lifting — and their dedication showed in every session.
The athletes truly excelled, pushing themselves with determination and enthusiasm. Two girls took part and proved without question that strength and stamina know no gender — they matched the boys lift for lift and showed incredible grit throughout the programme.
To celebrate their commitment, each athlete was proudly presented with a certificate from Weight Lifting Ireland recognising their progress and hard work.
