Leeside Legends - Celebrate 20th Anniversary! (Douglas, Cork)

Leeside Legends hosted it's 20th Anniversary Disco on Saturday 22nd November from 7 to 9pm at The Tinny Shed, St Columba's Hall Sports & Social Club, Douglas, Co. Cork. 

The disco followed on from a club event on 29th October, where Leeside Legends commemorated the the day 20 years before, when the club was founded. Athletes, families, volunteers and coaches all came together to celebrate how far they’ve come – all the good times had, challenges overcome, and trails blazed.

The club’s coaches Joe, Charlotte, Brenda, Danielle and Jess were honoured for their continuing service as the backbone of the club. Together, they have given tirelessly to the club and to the broader Special Olympics movement in Ireland. Lord Mayor of Cork City Council Cllr Fergal Dennehy joined the club in their celebrations!
