We are delighted to announce that Swords Basketball Special Olympics Club are November's winner of the Gala Gifts for Clubs competition and have won €500 in cash.

€20,000 was raised to benefit Special Olympics Ireland programmes, clubs and athletes across Ireland through a Captain’s Charity Day at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club on 30 April.

The team of volunteers who played their part in making the 2023 Special Olympics World Games in Berlin such a success were recognised and celebrated at a Volunteer Reunion event at Salesforce Tower, Dublin on Saturday 21 October.
