Excitement was in the air as 73 Team Ireland athletes began their journey to the 2023 Special Olympics World Games.

Special Olympics Ireland is delighted to announce and acknowledge receipt of €136,000 from the Dormant Account Fund through Sport Ireland’s Sport for All Disability Supports Club Fund for distribution to successful applicant affiliated clubs.

‘Stronger Minds, Happier Lives,’ Ireland’s first mental health promotion programme for people with intellectual disabilities has commenced.
