Physical Challenges

We believe that anyone who runs, walks, swims, cycles or jumps for our athletes is amazing. There is an array of physical challenge events organised each year that you could play your part in.

Events such as Hell and Back, Step Challenges, Marathons and Mini Marathons across Ireland are all excellent challenge events and an opportunity for you to raise vital funds for Special Olympics Ireland.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported it us through physical challenges in 2020. We have some very exciting challenges coming in 2021, including our;

  • 100,000 Steps Challenge in June
  • Your 5 Iconic Walks in August
  • Abs for Athletes in October

We can support you with any challenge you would like to take on, from Step Challenges to Cycles, Hiking to Home Fitness, 5k runs to Ultra Marathons – whatever it is, we’re here to help you.

Running Events

If you’re a keen runner or would like to get into running in 2021, we’d love to hear from you. Running is difficult and exhausting but when you reach your end goal the reward is truly amazing – we would love to join you on your journey and help you in any way we can.
