Wexford Special Olympics club are September's worthy winners of the Gala Gifs for Clubs cash prize!
The announcement was timed perfectly as the club have now fully returned to training this month after taking breaks due to Covid-19.
Congratulations to all involved in restoring club activity, it has been a huge triumph for athletes and volunteers alike who have so missed their weekly training sessions in basketball, swimming, and gymnastics.
Peader Dempsey from the club said:
It was great to see all our athletes back training, everyone missed the training evenings and interaction with their friends. The volunteers missed it just as much as the athletes!
