Special Olympics Ireland Volunteer Awards 2026

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Special Olympics Ireland Volunteer Awards!

Since 2021, Special Olympics volunteers have been acknowledging and celebrating each others' contributions through the Special Olympics Ireland Volunteer Awards. 

The Awards provide the opportunity for volunteers to recognise their peers for the dedication, energy, enthusiasm and “can do” approach they bring to Special Olympics. 

We look forward to celebrating the vital contributions of all of our volunteers with those who have been shortlisted at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday 8th November.

By nominating another volunteer today, you are playing a part in ensuring their contributions are recognised. What a great way to lift others up and encourage them to continue their valuable activities! Don’t assume someone else will send in a nomination - take a little time to champion another volunteer today.
