Volunteers needed for Galway Special Olympics Clubs

Galway Special Olympics Football Club and Galway Floorball club are seeking volunteers. Please contact Breffni, Regional Development Officer for Volunteers at breffni.gorman@specialolympics.ie

• Galway Special Olympics Football Club meets every Saturday behind Westside Library on the all-weather pitches from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. Volunteers would be required to commit to attending at least one Saturday a month but can volunteer every week if they wish to do so. The club will offer FAI training opportunities to committed volunteers. No experience is required but an interest in attending some Kickstart training with the FAI would be great.
• Galway Floorball Club  meets every Tuesday in Knocknacarra Community Hall, Cappagh Park from 7 to 8 pm. Volunteers would be required to commit to attending either once a week or every second week. No experience is required as training will be provided.
