Cops and Donuts return to Limerick and Portlaoise for a sweet weekend of fundraising

We’re thrilled to announce that Gardaí will host their fantastic “Cops & Donuts” fundraisers in Limerick this weekend and Portlaoise next weekend!

This Saturday 15 November (10 am–5 pm) at The Crescent Shopping Centre, the dedicated Gardaí from Roxboro Road Garda Station will be selling donuts to raise vital funds for Special Olympics Ireland.

Gardaí from Portlaoise Garda Station and Abbeyleix Garda Station will be hosting their fantastic “Cops & Donuts” fundraiser on Sunday 23rd of the  November (10 am – 4 pm) at Laois Shopping Centre. All proceeds will go directly to supporting our Special Olympics Ireland athletes.

Why you should pop in to the Cops and Donuts events:

• Fresh donuts from Kelly’s Family Bakery, Wexford, freshly delivered that morning.
• Price: €2 for two or €5 for a box of six.
• It’s part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign – a great example of community, service and sport coming together.
• The Gardaí aim to surpass last year’s haul of nearly €4,000 raised in Portlaoise alone, and 2000 donuts sold in Limerick!
