Margaret selected as Inclusive Research Fellow
Health Messenger and Athlete Leader Margaret Turley was selected by Special Olympics International to undertake an Inclusive Research Fellowship with SO Inc.
Margaret is assisting with the Special Olympics: Supporting families of Special Olympics athletes during COVID-19 project.
This project seeks to better understand how Special Olympics can support families of athletes given the challenges they have faced throughout the pandemic and what the expectations of the families are from the organization. This research will fill a critical need for Special Olympics in updating the Family Engagement Strategy moving forward.
Margaret is thoroughly enjoying this fantastic opportunity and we are looking forward to hearing all about the work she has been carrying out with the team.
