New Special Olympics Club for Inishowen, Co. Donegal

We're delighted to announce that plans are underway to establish a new Special Olympics club in Inishowen, providing sporting opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Our first planning meeting took place on 14 July, and we're now inviting the local community to come along to our Information Evening.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like to help make this new club a success. Whether you're interested in coaching, volunteering at events, joining the committee, or helping behind the scenes, we'd love to meet you.

We would be especially delighted to welcome family members of children and adults with intellectual disabilities who may be interested in becoming athletes. Your ideas, experiences and support will help shape the future of this club and ensure it meets the needs of the local community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the very beginning and help create a welcoming, inclusive club where people with intellectual disabilities can enjoy sport, develop their skills, make friends and achieve their personal best.
