IT Administration and Application Support
The role of IT Administration and Applications Support reports to the IT Manager and will support and enhance all of the technical and business aspects of Special Olympics Ireland’s systems and applications and will maintain and support the organisation’s existing information systems, ensuring data integrity, availability and security.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar environment and be passionate about delivering a positive user experience.
Regional Development Officer Sport- Leinster Region
Build, develop and consolidate a comprehensive Special Olympics sport programme in the Leinster region, ensuring that it is in line with the prevailing Special Olympics Ireland strategy. Responsible for driving and delivering development across key aspects of the programme, including Sports Development, Coach Education and Training, and Competition Event Management. You will oversee and organise events that will make an impact on our athletes ensuring events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. The role will involve evening and weekend work.
Regional Development Officer Clubs - Connaught Region
To strengthen and support affiliated clubs in implementing high standards in governance, management and operations in line with the prevailing Special Olympics Ireland Strategy at Regional level. Engage with clubs to develop structures, policies and procedures that will enhance the experience and involvement in Special Olympics for athletes, volunteers and family members and that will support the delivery of a quality sports training and competition programme. The role will involve occasional evening and weekend work.
