She has held the role of Regional Bowling Coordinator in Connaught for a number of years and has been part of the Connaught Delegation for the Ireland Games since 2002 taking on various roles from coach\/chaperone right up to Head of Delegation. She has also been part of Team Ireland for the 2003, 2007, 2011 \u0026amp; 2015 World Summer Games as coach\/head coach with the bowling team. In 2012 she took up the role of sports officer on the Special Olympics Connaught regional committee. In 2009 Veronica trained as a Coach Developer for Special Olympics with Sport Ireland and has delivered numerous courses to new coaches joining the Special Olympics family. In 2020 Veronica received one of the Federation of\u003Cstrong\u003E \u003C\/strong\u003EIrish Sport Volunteer Awards for her outstanding contribution to Special Olympics.
