She has set up, and ran, a mainstream club in her late teens coaching numerous teams from under 11 to senior level, with the senior ladies team progressing to play in the National League. She currently works as a Special Needs Assistant in a class for autistic students. She noticed there wasn\u0027t any clubs in the area catering for people with additional needs so she decided she would set up a Special Olympics club. The club has over 100 athletes as members with ages ranging from 4 years old up to 33 years old. The club initially started with the Young Athletes program and have now added athletics, basketball and recently, gymnastics, as sports.
