Special Olympics Charity Open Water Swim,
Seapoint, Co. Dublin Wednesday 30th August

The Garda Swim Club are hosting the Annual Charity Open Water Swim in aid of Special Olympics Eastern Region on Wednesday 30th August. All swimmers must be registered with Leinster Open Sea and all profits go to Special Olympics Eastern Region. The race distance is 1,500m and entry is €10. Please support this event by spreading the word to all your swimming friends or come and support us on the evening. We will be holding a prize giving event at the Purty Kitchen in Monkstown following the races at 8.00pm.

Men's race: 7.00pm
Women's Race: 7.45pm

where members of  An Garda Síochána will be selling donuts in aid of Special Olympics Ireland. The more donuts sold the more money raised for Special Olympics!

Cops and Donuts is a worldwide event for Special Olympics organised by the Law Enforcement Torch Run Committee. Currently, close to 90,000 police professionals in over 35 countries participate in this worldwide effort to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics.
We will be selling delicious fresh donuts baked by Kelly's Bakery in Wexford.
