This centre is critically important to the future success of the region as it will be the central hub from where our fantastic team of volunteers will conduct their support tasks.
Paul Ahearne, Fundraising Co-ordinator with Special Olympics Eastern Region said “our volunteers take on a number of tasks all year round such as administration of athlete files, administration of our families programme, recruiting volunteers for sports events, recruiting volunteers to support local clubs within the region and our volunteers are an invaluable resource in terms of ongoing fundraising campaigns. We would like to thank the Civil Service Charities Fund for their very generous donation which will hep to ensure the future success of our programme.”
