Area 1 Golf Skills May 23rd 2011
Ennis Special Olympics Club and the members of Ennis Golf Club and a number of volunteers from the Limerick area hosted the area 1 golf skills event on a very windy day on Monday 23rd May. 60 athletes from Clare, Limerick and Tipperary took part and had a great day. Well done to all the volunteers who were involved in the planning and delivery of the event we appreciate your dedication on such a difficult day weatherise. Event manager on the day was Pierce Cahill and competition manager was Barbara Foley both from Ennis Golf Club. There were lots of hot drinks needed and a local school band came and entertained everyone at lunchtime.
