From 29th January to 5th February, 14 athletes represented Team Ireland at the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. 
Team Ireland returned home victorious from the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games with a haul of 12 medals (three gold, six silver, three bronze) and six Place Ribbons.  11 of these medals were secured in the Alpine Skiing Competition, with our floorball team securing the other Team medal.



Congratulations to our 14 fantastic athletes on their magnificent achievement, and to their dedicated coaches and management team, families and clubs who supported them at every step along this incredible journey!
