Hi everyone
By now everyone has gone back to their clubs. Our golf skills started back the end of September. Our golf coach Michael Forde had been to the World Summer Games in Athens so he told us all about it, they all had a great time and came home with lots of medals.

Our riding club, Duhallow Riders started back two weeks ago so we are all getting used to it again. Norma has two new ponies this year and I think they will be very good for our lessons. One of our riders Pamela Collins was at the World Summer Games and got 3 medals. We are all very proud of her.

Our ALPs group is back in action too - we had a great meeting last Saturday 15th October, one of the items we covered was a mock presidential election. We usually hold our meetings in Charleville but our next meeting will be in Mallow and we will go for lunch afterwards.
My big news is that I am doing the Contemporary Living Course in Mary Immaculate College in Limerick. It is on 2 days a week and I really enjoy it. There are 15 in my class, we do a lot of group work. Our subjects for this term are Social Studies and Career Development.
Before I finish I must wish Mary Davis the very best of luck. I am sure all the athletes will be out to vote for her.
I will be in touch again soon
