Myself and mam did a church gate collection for team south galway at the end of May. Everyone was very generous and we collected 1 thousand and 95 euro.

I have been on a diet and have lost half a stone already.
I took part in a swimming gala in Tuam. I was the only person from Team South Galway at it. I took part in 4 races - they were front crawl, back stroke, mixed front crawl and mixed backstroke. I won all of my races!

My coach Jackie and David Harris from Team South Galway went to the World Games in Athens. We all lit candles and said prayers for them and they did brilliantly. I think there will be a welcome home party for them soon.

My cousin Elenor got married to John Paul at the start of August. I went to the wedding with the rest of my family. The church was in New Quay in Clare and the reception was in a marquee at her house. I wore grey trousers, a grey top, and a pink hair piece. It was a great day. I did lots of disco dancing and got home at 2 in the morning!

I have been working in O’Grady’s pub on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. I work in the kitchen and wash the dishes. I have learnt some new recipes already there.

I will be graduating in November and will get a FETAC Level 3 – general learning certificate. I’m really looking forward to it.
