Healthy Athlete Programme  

The Healthy Athlete Programme provides free health screening, education and preventative services for athletes during the Games.

It comprises of the following health related programmes:

- Special Smiles (Dental)
- Opening Eyes (Optical)
- Fit Feet (Podiatry)
- Health Promotion

All services in the Healthy Athlete Clinic will be provided by qualified Dentists, Podiatrists, Nutritionists, Dieticians, Opticians and Medical Administration Personnel.

Family members are more than welcome to accompany athletes attending the clinic, however screening at the clinic is only for Special Olympics athletes.

The Healthy Athlete Clinic will be located in the University of Limerick Campus Site in a marquee located in the carpark beside Special Olympics Town.
