VOLUNTEERING

CLUBS

Special Olympics Ulster have 74 clubs across the region who require volunteers in a variety of roles.  Please see the list of current volunteer opportunities available in our clubs right now at the bottom of the page.

For more information on any of these roles, please contact Keith Thompson on keith.thompson@specialolympics.ie or 028 9089 2994.

The Athlete Leadership Programme enables athletes aged 16 and above to participate in opportunities additional to sports training and competition. Working with a volunteer mentor athletes complete training and workshops based around public speaking, volunteering, coaching and presentation skills.

The region is currently seeking volunteers to mentor athletes.  For further information please contact Scott Witherick on scott.witherick@specialolympics.ie or 028 9026 2775

Events

From September 2017 to June 2018, Special Olympics Ulster will host a series of development days, non-advancement events and leagues across the region. We require volunteers to assist in a range of roles including event management teams, sports roles, volunteer services and media.
