Special Olympics Ulster Clubs
In the Ulster Region we have 65 clubs that are affiliated to Special Olympics Ireland. This includes a mixture of community based clubs and service based groups who avail of training, events and sports competitions throughout the year as part of the Special Olympics Ireland programme.
Community based clubs are open to anyone over the age of 4* with an intellectual disability within the immediate locality - capacity permitting. Please find below a list of the community based clubs available in the Ulster Region.
Service based groups are also mostly based in local communities - they include residential centres, special schools, workshops and day activation units etc. They only provide a Special Olympics programme to people within their service.
