Each year volunteers donate their time and talents to the programmes and athletes of Special Olympics Munster.
Through sport, athletes develop both physically and emotionally, they make new friends, realise their dreams, and know they can fit in. As a volunteer with us, you enable athletes to achieve and win not only in sport but in life too. Special Olympics values and needs your involvement in many areas of the programme.
What does a volunteer do?
Volunteers can get involved in a number of areas:
- Assist with our series of year-round events held throughout the region
- Coach or assist athletes in one of our community clubs
- Host a fundraising event to generate much needed funds
- Offer support in a specific area (i.e. medical, sports development, office administration)
How do I get involved?
Because there are so many programmes, services and volunteer opportunities, we are sure you will find something to suit your interests and availability.
