The Feel Good Do Good Challenge
Lose weight, Tone up, Feel Great
The challenge is aimed at anyone who would like to lose weight, boost their fitness and health, while at the same time raise much needed funds for some of Ireland’s most worthy causes. The chosen charities for the 2012 Feel Good Do Good Challenge are Marymount Hospice, Special Olympics Munster, P2P, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and Cystic Fibrosis.
Now in its third year, The Feel Good Do Good Challenge run by Juliet Murphy Health & Fitness Club in Ballincollig has successfully raised in excess of €80,000 for some of Ireland’s most deserving causes. Charities such as ARC Cancer Support House, Special Olympics Ireland, The Mercy Hospital and OvaCare have each been beneficiaries of previous Feel Good Do Good Challenges.
The Feel Good Do Good Challenge will be made up of two separate challenges - a Weight Loss, Health & Fitness Programme and an advanced Xtreme Fitness Challenge. Both challenges offer a personalised goal-orientated programme specifically tailored for each participant. The Xtreme Fitness Challenge is aimed at those who are looking to push themselves to reach a level of fitness they never thought possible.
“A programme of this type would typically cost in excess of €400,” says Juliet Murphy. “But as we want people to undertake the challenge for such worthy charities we have reduced the cost to just €250.”
Cork ladies footballer Juliet Murphy is delighted to be supporting such worthy causes yet again. “We are very excited about our new challenge,” says Juliet. “The charities have been carefully chosen by our mentors and we will do everything we can to support them. I can personally assure everyone who signs up to this challenge that they will thoroughly enjoy the 12-weeks. It’s a fantastic way to lose weight and get fit. Our results speak for themselves!!!”
One of the highlights of the Feel Good Do Good Challenge is the opportunity to take part in a gala fashion show to be held at the end of the 12-week programme.
