Before I left to head off to the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens I promised myself that if I didn’t find a job in Donegal, I would go back into education because that’s what a lot of people were doing. |

Since my last blog I went and got surgery on my knee. It went very well; the surgery took 20 minutes and the rest of the time I was in recovery. I knew what I was getting myself into and I knew exactly what they were doing to me as I did some research before the operation |

Myself and mam did a church gate collection for team south galway at the end of May. Everyone was very generous and we collected 1 thousand and 95 euro.

I volunteered with Special Olympics Ireland on their Collection Day which was great fun and now I am doing my work experience with them
