Andrea is a member of the womens’ football team for the Special Olympics European Games. She joined Special Olympics 3 years ago and in that time she has enjoyed many moments of success and achievement, most recently winning a bronze medal at the 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games.
Special Olympics has changed Andrea’s life and she loves being involved. Before joining Special Olympics life was quieter but through Special Olympics Andrea has a new lease of life with lots of new friends and activities.
This is the first time that Andrea has been selected to represent Ireland at European Games level and she is very excited about it. She is really looking forward to the trip to Poland and meeting lots of new people.
When Andrea isn’t busy training she enjoys playing the piano, basketball, football, swimming and socialising with her friends.
