On Friday 23rd December a very unusual fundraiser will be held in Kilkenny city, all proceeds in aid of Special Olympics Leinster.
This fundraiser is in association with Kilkenny Community Policing Unit under the direction of Sgt Gary Gordon.  The project is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

We aid to sell 6,000 Donuts on the streets of Kilkenny on Friday 23rd at €2 for a pack of 2 and €5 for a pack of 6.  The donuts have been donated by Dolly's Donuts of Oldtown Hill Bakery, Tullaroan, Kilkenny.  Dolly's Donuts are well renowned and have featured on Ireland AM and Ear to the Ground.

The members of Community Policing Unit will be on the streets selling the donuts, with help from Special Olympics athletes, celebrities, and members of the public.

If anyone in the Kilkenny region have a few hours to spare on Friday 23rd perhaps they would like to help us out.  Please contact Special Olympics Leinster on 01-6296999 or
