As part of our Athlete Leadership Programme (ALPs) programme and in keeping with the Healthy Athlete theme which Special Olympics has been promoting for the past two years. Special Olympics Eastern Region hosted our very first COOKERY course on Saturday 2nd October 2010 in Park House.

Eastern Region Group Cheeverstown House involved in the Special Olympics Golf Link Programme with Grange Golf Club in Rathfarnham took part in Grange’s Centenary Celebrations this year with an inter-club competition which took place in September involving athletes from three other Golf Link Programmes

Congratulations to the following teams who were randomly selected from a draw which took place on 13th October to take part in the Special Olympics Ireland National Basketball Cup in November.
